This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about:
• Restaurant operators (“Merchants”) who use our Platform to run their businesses
• End customers of those Merchants who interact with Labrador AI-powered ordering, checkout, or communication systems
• Visitors to our website at labrador.ai and any associated web properties
• Prospective Merchants who contact us or sign up for demos
By using the Platform, our website, or any Labrador AI service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We may collect:
• Name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, and account credentials when creating a Merchant account
• Banking and payment processing information necessary to process transactions
• Restaurant menus, pricing, hours, modifier options, and operational settings uploaded by Merchants
• Communications you send to us by email, chat, SMS, voice, or other channels
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
We may collect:
• Order and transaction data, including item selections, payment amounts, timestamps, and order status
• Device and usage data, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and pages visited
• Voice and audio data, including recordings and transcripts from voice ordering interactions
• POS and hardware telemetry, including terminal activity logs, connectivity status, and device health data
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive:
• Transaction confirmations, chargeback data, and fraud signals from payment processors
• Order and fulfillment data from third-party delivery integrations
• Call logs, SMS delivery receipts, and number registration data from telecom and VoIP partners

• Manage menus, POS, KDS, online ordering, voice ordering, digital menu boards, websites, and related services

• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or misuse

• Contact prospective Merchants who have opted in to hear from Labrador AI
4. SMS Communications
4.1 How We Use SMS
Labrador AI and its Merchants may send SMS messages for:
• Transactional messages, such as order confirmations, receipts, and order status updates
• Operational messages, such as account alerts and service notifications
• Marketing messages, such as promotional offers and re-engagement campaigns, only where the recipient has provided the required consent
4.2 Opt-In and Consent
We only send marketing SMS messages to individuals who have explicitly opted in. Opt-in may occur through:
• Web forms with clear disclosure language
• Keyword opt-in flows
• Point-of-sale or written collection flows
• Verbal consent with appropriate disclosure
4.3 Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information to any third party for marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used solely to deliver the messages you consented to receive.
5. Payment Data
Labrador AI facilitates payment processing for Merchants on the Platform. Payment card data is handled using PCI-compliant infrastructure and partners. We do not store full payment card numbers.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
• With Merchants, when needed to fulfill transactions or provide services
• With service providers who help us operate the Platform, such as cloud, payment, SMS, analytics, and infrastructure providers
• With delivery partners, when necessary to fulfill delivery orders
• When required by law, legal process, or government request
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some information may be retained longer where required for regulatory, payment, fraud, or tax purposes.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and security monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
